After training at the prestigious ‘Italia Conti’ Academy of Performing Arts in London, Lisa auditioned from thousands of hopefuls to become a member of the Pop Group ‘STEPS’, achieving 3 No. 1 Albums and 15 Top 5 hits. Steps sold out 4 record breaking Arena Tours, playing to over 1 Million fans which earned them a Brit Award for ‘Best Selling Live Act’. They achieved world wide record sales of over 18 Million.
After their split, Lisa signed her solo record deal with Universal and went on to release 3 Top 15 hits, including the self-penned ‘Lately’ which reached No. 6 in the Pop Charts and No.1 in the Dance Charts. She co-wrote her solo album ‘Never or Now’ which can be found on iTunes.
Lisa was approached by MTV and offered her own fly-on-the-wall series ‘Totally Scott-Lee’. It was a huge hit for MTV and was shown in many countries around the world.
Lisa starred in the second series of ITV’s ‘Dancing on Ice’ which brought along the exciting challenge of learning to ice skate! She was coached by legends ‘Torvill and Dean’ and performed with them on the first ‘Dancing On Ice’ Arena Tour.
Lisa was thrilled to have a cameo in the Christmas Special of the TV show ‘Extras’ along with Ricky Gervais which was screened both in the UK and America.
Over the last 10 years, Lisa has performed over 1000 shows across the UK and Europe, China and Australia as a solo artiste. She has appeared on and presented numerous TV and radio shows for the likes of MTV and Capital Radio, had a weekly column in Closer magazine and fronted a documentary about Celebrity Mums for Living TV. She is also an ambassador for the charity ‘Mencap’.
Lisa and her husband Johnny are proud parents of their two gorgeous children, Jaden and Star Lily. The family live in Dubai where Lisa has a radio show. Lisa is excited to be in Steps again as it’s her dream job!
